Khandobachi Jejuri


Located on a 758 metre high hillock in Maharashtra’s Pune district is Jejuri, the hillock is known for one of Maharashtra’s most revered Gods khandoba said to be a manifestation of Lord Shiva. Each year lakhs of devotees young and old throughout the state of Khandoba trudge climb through the hillock risking their life and limb to seek the blessings of Khandoba. Travelling with these devotees for three years Nitin through his photos has tried to show the celebration and devotion of Khandoba’s ardent followers.
