Sarp Mitra, an organization working towards the conservation of snakes. Literally translated means “the friends of snakes” and the volunteers of this organization are trained not only strive to saves snakes but also conduct various educational programs to educate the society in order to get rid of the fears associated with snakes and also to do away with numerous myths about snakes. The greatest myth about snakes is that all snakes are venomous but the fact is that only approximate 80% snakes are venomous.
